The Piers of the New York and Brooklyn Bridge, joined by large Cables, will be seen just north of the Tribune Building. Old Laight Street Church, a graceful, pointed spire, east of Pier 39. Stevens' Castle will be seen on the west bank of the River, and above this the Elysian Fields. Twenty-fourth Street Pier, up-town landing of the New York & Albany Day Line. Monastery of the Passionist Fathers, large building of the St. Paul (London), style of architecture, on the west shore above Hoboken.
