A zany and delightful twist on the traditional Cinderella story: a "small, spotty, scruffy and skinny" prince instead of a princess; a pair of jeans instead of a glass slipper; a dirty and rather inept fairy who falls down the chimney, and so on. Great stuff. The author has inscribed and signed this copy on the title page" To Tony love from Babette Cole". Bottom corners very slightly bumped, some slight yellowing to edges, but a near fine copy in fine dust jacket.
