The gravest social problem of the present day world is the crisis of values and it may be observed that it is the root cause of all other problems in the world. Presently, crisis of values in India is inching towards the most alarming levels as we see that gratification, corruption and adulteration as well as criminal activities in Indian society are becoming the order of the day. Though, we have enough laws to curve these activities together with professional course of conduct, yet the situation is becoming bad to worse and it may rightly be said that neither laws, nor courts, nor intellectual analysis are sufficient to empower the immoral persons with the stamina and strength to carrion with the arduous ethic-moral journey. The only solution of this grim situation lies in fostering the path of value education, i.e. education in human values and professional ethics.
