The reader therefore gains an authentic impression of what actually happens during the investigation of a particularly bizarre murder. The victim Clive Olive, was only 16, but had already acquired six aliases. 'Ollie' as he was known, became involved with Hell's Angels, drug pushers and the seamier side of Brighton life, which sadly led him to his eventual destruction. As well as a suspenseful real-life thriller, the author gives an insight into the disturbing picture of Hell's Angels activities in the 1970s. Sordid brutality, rape and 'gang-bangs' seemed essential aspects of their behaviour. Activities which Ollie paid for with his life. Illus. 152pp. 8vo. h/back.
