The jewellery selected shows an exploration of the new ideas of this new craft tradition. Materials for jewellery like rings and bracelets are no longer precious, and design has been influenced much less by status, wealth or fashion. Yet the best practitioners have kept a sense of harmony and order when exploring form and function; light, space and movement; and the invention of new symbols.
