Once the Gaza-Beersheba line was broken the pace of the campaign saw the mounted troops take over and the men from the camel services formed the 14th & 15th Australian Light Horse Regiments that saw action in the Jordan Valley, Amman and Damascus. Very rare in Hardcover these days, this copy presents well in the dust-jacket which has some shelf wear and some light age spotting on the inside. The cloth is very good for age, though there is some age spotting to the edges of the text block and a small previous owner's initials and date on the blank fep. Long out of print.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good.
