The biography of 100-years includes the preceding 20 years as Moculta and district was first taken up by South Australian German settlers in 1842 and this delightful book is a picturesque and detailed account of its story with many b&w ills and memorabilia - for eg the front endpp is of the School Chart used at Moculta Lutheran school in 1880. It is all a wonderful picture of colonial life- for eg how the women washed and sewed and ironed - minutiae, homes, schools, churches, farming and names and many pics of the Foundation Families to 1860. then moving into the 20th century. A book of "pangs" in 154pp - clean, bright as Orig. Brds (Fine) & binding tight & firm as Orig. Minor chips side of back brd.
