Following Bell's text is a section of annotations which explain the geography of the area involved, points out discrepancies between Bell's statements and those of other authors, or supports the history revealed in Bell's account. Tales of the Trinity begins in Feburary 1851 on the west bank of the Sacramento River where a party of 25 adventurous frontiersmen were about to embark on a gold hunting journey to Grand Old Shasta and beyond. Size: 5.5 X 8.5 " 55 Pages.
