From November 28th to December 12th the Church will devote itself to Preaching Missions. It is expected that the Preaching Mission in ihis parish will be held by the Rev. H. H. Lumpkin of Grace Church, Madison. Mr. Middleton has taken charge of the Choir at St. Andrews, much to the gratification of all concerned. The Rector has been elected President of the Milwaukee Clericus. Mr. Henry F. Gerling has taken the superintendency of the Sunday School. He has been a teacher for some years and understands the work thoroughly. On Sunday evenings at 7: 30 a class in Faith Healing is meeting in the Church. This group is following out the lines suggested by the Society of the Nazarene and at present is being conducted by the Rector. Through the kindness of Mr. C. William Anderson and Mr. Meers, the parish has been presented with an excellent small safe. Thus an appeal of some years standing has been answered. EMMANUEL, LANCASTER The work at Emmanuel Church, Lancaster, Wis. , was taken over by Rev. Lawrence A. Crittenton, of the class of 1920, Nashotah Theological Seminary. The new Rector toolc up his duties on June first, and succeeds the Yen. W. H. Wolfe. Fr. Crittenton is also in charge of Holy Trinity Church, Prairie du Chien, where services are conducted on the first Sunday in each month. The Church in Lancaster has been improved during the summer. A new pipeless furnace has been installed and the windows have been repaired. At the Annual Parish Meeting held on Oct. 8th. a goodly number of people were on hand and an enthusiastic response was made in answer to appeals made by the Rector and the Vestry.
