But almost before I knew it Came the silent fleet of time, Carrying onward, up to manhood, All those precious babes of mine--Launched them out upon the ocean Of a world of joy and care, Plunged them into lifes commotion, Granting each an ample share. Then they sought a life companion Binding close in marriage tie, Next, a quiet cot to dwell in Suited to their tasteful eye.
