For all of which I was roundly abused by some of the so-called authorities. In 1900 I began the publication of the Ophthalmologist, a monthly, which was continued for ten years, in which I had the means of answering critics and spreading good tidings as I discovered them. In 1905 I published Neurology and Metaphysics, a large, illustrated volume, in which were recorded in detail many discoveries beyond the field of Ophthalmology and the manner in which it was received was most gratifying. I still receive letters, almost weekly, from those who have tried out the propositions and found they all worked.
