This identifies effectiveness in each of the Five Dimensions of Leading Change: Modeling the Change, Communicating About the Change, Involving Others in the Change, Helping Others Break from the Past, and Creating a Supportive Environment for the Change. It also reveals a personal profile and an Overall Effectiveness Score for leading change. Participants then learn about the dimensions and how to interpret their scores in these areas. Finally, questions regarding each dimension prompt participants to plan for improvement. The Self-Assessment, which is available in print or online form, typically requires 20 minutes to administer. If you intend to use the Facilitator Set in a classroom training session, we recommend allowing approximately one hour for interpretation of scores, debriefing, discussion and action planning. Additional materials included in the Facilitator Set enable you to extend the learning into an additional three-hour workshop.
