The first page proof was printed in Oct. 1906 (by Philippe Renouard), a corrected version was produced in Dec. 1906 and on this one the present edition is based (the copy was supplied by John Symonds). Probably the book was not printed before 1909. "For reasons uncertain, Crowley later chose to disregard the book completely [.] The blanket of silence that Crowley thus cast over Alexandra has subsequently led to much confusion concerning the nature and history of the book." Other rescued from the flames and copied fair, transcribed, edited, annotated arranged, printed, published by Ophielia Cox (nee McHunt) and diaper of the Women's Monthly. Introduction by Keith Richmond and edited by Anthony Naylor. Possibly the First Edition as no printed copies (other than proofs) survive. Limited & Numbered Edition No 343 of 350 copies).
