It shows the high value that God places on people and reassures that there is no situation that is beyond His power to redeem and to turn into one of purpose. All that we need to do is to take courage like these women and to speak up and receive the help that we so desperately need. It is God who said "I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11), and He meant just that. He sent his Son Jesus in a time and in a culture when women were classed at the same level as dogs, and He gave them their identity and dignity back, restoring them to their rightful place in the kingdom of God; a place of wholeness and purpose.
