Apart from India, a phytoremediation study in mining polluted area of Zamora-Chinchippe, Ecuador, using selected experimental plants also described in the fourth part. In all these polluted sites, the name of pollutants was listed by metal analysis of soil samples. The name of plants harboured, name of AM fungi colonized, estimation of mycorrhizal population, preparation of mycorrhizal inoculum and the methods to execute the process of phytoremediation using AM fungi are also described in this chapter.
