Diedrich from public office, in 1889; the resignation of the Hon. James Shanahan as superintendent of public works of the state of New York, in 1889; the resignation of Charles R. Hall as deputy superintendent of the banking department of the state of New York, in 1889; the removal, by death, Of the venerable judge, Amasa J.
