The first part narrates various revolts that took place against the rule of Imperial Britain in India. These revolts had taken place at different times from 1700 to 1947. Many prominent nationalist personalities, such as Khudiram, Prafulla Chaki, Bhagat Singh, Rash Behari Basu, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and many others sacrifice their lives while trying to liberate our country. The second part of this book deals completely with the issues relating to partition, and individuals who played the dominant part in the politics of partition of our nation. These individuals due to their myopic political vision, compelled a large number of people to suffer undue hardship and get uprooted from their hearth and home in West Punjab and East Bengal. This book highlights various atrocities that took place during the period. This book is a rare and important contribution to the literature of our nation's freedom struggle which culminated in the tragic partition.
