The plot of "All Knights of the Apocalypse," opens with us meeting John, an American who is a major player in this drama. A man searching for peace, tranquillity, and safety from an impending doom for his family. He tells of meeting his dead brother in a strange dream and the understanding he derived from it. By 1998 he leads his family to Panama after feeling he had unraveled a mystery from a book of old. Should civilization have any sudden upheavals, Panama would serve as a good jumping off point to go by boat with his loved ones on a trek into the unknown Pacific Ocean. This book deals with a very contemporary theme of terrorism utilizing a nuclear device. Ben, an ex-Iraqi military officer, joins an extremely secretive unit within Hamas funded by the chief belligerents in the Mid-East. They orchestrate a planned attack on Washington, D.C. to be carried out on the night the president is giving his State of the Union address to Congress. This single act, utilizing an atomic weapon, leaves the United States in total bedlam, without any type of visible governing body. Ben is chosen to deliver the weapon of destruction due to a venerable hatred for the United States. This stems from the loss of his family during his country’s involvement during "DESERT STORM." Two sisters, Sunni and Khali, who start the story as accomplices of Ben, are kidnapped. They begin to question the futility of their beliefs. In preparation for their sale into slavery others of their faith perpetrate horrific acts of brutality upon the sisters. A soldier under Ben's command kills one sister, which leaves the other sister bitter and determined to survive. Her story carries you from the mid-east out across the Pacific Ocean. While the United States is gripped in complete and total chaos, an old desert enemy unsheathes its war machine to successfully cut off world oil supplies. The domino effect prevails as the nations of the world are drawn into conflict due to the absence of a strong, central, American government. Every continent and almost every country become involved in an ensuing world conflict. We observe the separate states of the North American continent maneuver a new government into being and struggle politically to regain a presence in the world. Some unusual and colorful personages surface on the political scene to add drama and humor to a seriously tragic series of events. Multitudes of characters surface to tell their tales of survival in a completely hostile and alien environment. The commanders, politicians, and survivalists interact (sometimes negatively), as this drama spreads across a torn globe with a civilization struggling to survive this new onslaught. These small diverse bands of pilgrims from many varying faiths and many points of the globe attempt to remove themselves from harms way. They venture into the South Pacific to unexpectedly converge on the same small island. Here, they find hope and ideals they may understandably grasp. Through visions, the players in this odyssey are driven, as if by a single unseen beatific force. Old beliefs are rekindled in the prospect of a common goal that will lead each group to this single rendezvous in faith. On their journeys they encounter many hostile forces; renegade military units, pirates, and Mother Nature, as well as being trapped between major combatants’ forces that are sworn enemies. At times, they have questioned thoughts about other members in their individual parties while others are thought to be lost and then resurface. You are introduced to some of man's darkest of deeds being plunged to the depths of hell and some of his most noble thoughts and actions lifting you to heavens gate. The culmination is in epic style verging on biblical proportions with an uncertain future, as John had foreseen in a vision.
