A külföldi hallgatók receptjeiből összeállított kiadvány ezúttal elsősorban a levesekre, salátákra és a desszertekre fókuszál, de a cél nem változott: megismerni a több mint 130 országból Pécsre érkező tanulók hazájának gasztro-kultúráját, ízlésvilágát, különleges ételeit.A Pécsi Tudományegyetem egyik globális értelemben vett egyedi produktuma az "50 étel a nagyvilágból" című szakácskönyv, amely 2019-ben jelent meg az egyetem hallgatóinak aktív közreműködésével.A nagy sikerre való tekintettel, és a számos pozitív visszajelzés alapján egyértelművé vált: nem maradhat el a folytatás! Ennek megfelelően újabb 50 receptet gyűjtöttek össze a kötet szerkesztői, miután a PTE-n tanuló mintegy 5000 külföldi és 17 000 magyar hallgató között ismét receptversenyt hirdettek meg, ezúttal azonban levesekre, salátákra és desszertekre koncentrálva.Miseta Attila professzor, az egyetem rektora a kiadvány kapcsán elmondta: "Akár szimbolikusnak is tekinthető, hogy a második "egyetemi szakácskönyv" a Centenárium évében jelenik meg: éppen 100 évvel ezelőttre datáljuk a modern felsőoktatás kezdetét Pécsett. Hazánk minden bizonnyal egyik legsokszínűbb és legnemzetközibb egyeteme méltán büszke arra az interkulturális közegre, amely valójában évszázadok óta körülöleli az itt tanulókat, kutatókat, az itt élő városlakókat" - hangsúlyozta a rektor. This publication, compiled from recipes of international students, primarily focuses on soups, salads, and desserts, but the goal remains the same: to get to know the gastronomic culture, taste preferences, and unique dishes of students coming to Pécs from more than 130 countries. One of the globally unique products of the University of Pécs is the recipe book titled "50 Delicacies on Earth," which was published in 2019 with the active participation of the university's students.Considering the great success and based on numerous positive feedback, it became clear: the sequel is a must! Accordingly, the editors of the book have gathered another 50 recipes after announcing a recipe competition once again among approximately 5,000 foreign and 17,000 Hungarian students at the University of Pécs, this time focusing on soups, salads, and desserts.Professor Attila Miseta, the university's rector, expressed his thoughts on the publication, stating, "The release of the second 'university recipe book' during the Centenary year carries symbolic significance, marking the beginning of modern higher education in Pécs exactly 100 years ago. Our nation's most diverse and internationally-oriented university takes justifiable pride in the centuries-old intercultural environment that has embraced students, researchers, and the city's residents," emphasized the rector.
